I find that having some sort of daily routine helps me be more productive and keeps me on track. The key is creating routines you can stick with. However, I am the type of person who sometimes breaks that habit and has to start all over again.
Right now I am in that mode of starting my routines over. My ideal morning involves a walk for at least 30 minutes, some time to meditate for 10-15 minutes, and then I start looking over my tasks for the day. This helps me start my day off on the right foot and prevents me from feeling overwhelmed.
